Littér. Qui est à moitié fermé. Synon. demi-clos. Fleur, bouche, lèvre mi-close. La baronne (...), les paupières mi-closes et les lèvres entr'ouvertes, frissonnait encore de cette ardente et douce étreinte (A. FRANCE, Bergeret, 1901, p. 145). Le petit jour entre par les volets mi-clos (DANIEL-ROPS, Mort, 1934, p. 252). Il épie la fille entre ses cils mi-clos (BERNANOS, Mouchette, 1937, p. 1293).
